Resistance Band Training with K Bands

What Are Kinetic Bands?

Kinetic bands or K bands were developed by Coach McQueen of Myosource Inc. These resistance basically attach to the thighs with straps and changeable resistance bands. Placing these bands on your legs adds resistance for exercises that requires running, jumping, side shuffling and quick movements. The resistance bands can also be adapted for upper body exercises but I think they are more practical for the lower body. Coach McQueen has taken this simple idea and developed a program for the lower body, core muscles and cardiovascular system that can enhance athletic skills for all sports. Resistance band training with k bands can be used by men or women but I think women would appreciate the focus on toning the outer thigh muscles, hips and buttocks.

This video will show you how to properly place the bands on your legs.

K bands will make most exercises a little more difficult, especially running or movement exercises thereby getting a better cardio workout and burning more calories. The program comes with a 60 day challenge, to lose weight and get in better shape or money back. It includes 10 DVD’s for beginners, advanced, abs, cardio exercises, 60 day calendar, and diet guide. The K band training movements are low impact and easy to follow. Resistance band training with K bands include a series of upper body exercises but you would have to alternate between upper or lower body exercises. The ideal way to maximize a workout would be to have two sets, working your upper and lower body simultaneously. This would probably be considered an advanced resistance band workout.
